  001.   Player and character are 21+, I require my partners to be as well. Much of the RP surrounding Hesperia may involve mature/darker themes that are NOT suitable for minors.  002.   I have been writing/RPing for roughly 20 years, give or take. My writing style is typically past-tense, para/multi-para, but it can vary.  003.   IC =/= OOC. Let us not confuse the two.

  004.   My timezone is CST/CDT USA. I have a full-time job and familial responsibilities which make it difficult for me to schedule in-game RP, therefore, Discord RP is preferred if we have established a foundation for a plot.  005.   Most themes are acceptable, just discuss them with me first.  006.   I will NOT tolerate: god-modding, attempting to force character death or dismemberment, any sort of sexual/abuse content regarding children, ooc drama, or harassment.

  007.   Hesperia is tentatively an antagonist, who often has underlying personal motives for most of her actions. However, she is not unreasonable and can be persuaded to ally with your character under the right circumstances. “ OLD THINGS HAVE STRANGE HUNGERS. ”She could not fathom it, how millennia could be wasted in an instant. It could not be, and yet...the Empire lay in ruins, all that now remain of it smouldering ashes and the fragments of a woman from that forgotten age.The days that followed her arrival in this new, distant era were bleaker than the snow beneath her feet, filled with clouded breaths and hunger pangs. Frozen, bony fingers clutched tightly the velvet coat that hugged her hunched frame. Yet some ancient flame burned within, urging her on. She did not know where she was going, nor from where she’d come. It all bled together: one endless, white death spread out around her, punctuated only by the crunch of her boots and the occasional cry of a crow far above. Swarming. Watching. They seemed to be counting her steps. So many more, and she would fall, and they would feast.But the crows were not the only hungry, wild things in this wasteland. They were not the only creatures who would devour the weak to survive.

“ AND ALL OF MY DEVOTION TURNS VIOLENT. ”A racing heart shuddered against its cage of bones.Thump, thump, thump.“I will do this only if you promise me one thing,” she whispered dubiously.“Anything.”Hesperia carefully ran her finger along the edge of the gleaming blade, admiring its craftsmanship. It would not take much to draw blood with this fine instrument. “I will see your soul rent from existence, should you cross me. Do not think to betray me.”The creature’s eyes flashed brilliant white, glittering like diamonds under the midday sun. Jowls stretched wide, innumerable glistening daggers for teeth exposed with the grotesque gesture. “You have my word.”

Hesperia scoffed, but ran the honed edge of the blade against her palm all the same, squeezing it as blood oozed and dripped copiously from the wound onto the stone altar.Pat, pat, pat...Blood made contact with the symbol etched in stone, the floor illuminating in a wicked violet hue, as black shadows manifested and whipped about like a vortex. A vibrating hum, not unlike the howl of some unearthly beast permeated the air beneath the roaring winds. Hesperia fought to see through the blinding and the murk, when a luminous red arrow struck her through the heart. She screamed, the pain that blossomed from the wound so exquisite and immeasurable it left her hoarse and blinded.It was then the pact was sealed, the curse imbued upon her demanding far greater a price than she could have ever bargained for.
